Conveniently located 3 km (2 mi) from Colle Di Compito, Italy and only 17 km (11 mi) from Lucca. Al Mennucci is a beautiful holiday home (130 sq m) with private pool, WiFi internet and air conditioning. The property can accommodate up to eight guests comfortably in three bedrooms with three bathrooms. If you enjoy a round of golf while on holiday, then you will be happy to know there is a golf course nearby.
The Experience
This house was originally an old hayloft which has recently been converted into a delightful cottage. It is located in a superb position, high in the hills, 15 km to the south-east of Lucca, and surrounded by olive groves and pine trees. There are fantastic views over the countryside and the plain of Montecatini in the distance.
Close to the pool area, there is a stone-built barbecue and pizza oven, an outdoor shower and an outdoor dining area. Near the driveway, about 20 metres from the house, there is small guesthouse with a double bedroom and bathroom. The secluded position and the fact that it is accessible by its private road ensure peace and tranquillity for the guests of Al Mennucci. This road lasts for 1 km and it is unsealed, therefore not suitable for low sport cars.
After arriving you will be greeted by the owner or manager where you’ll find a lovely clean well-maintained property with views of the hills perfect for a relaxing vacation in Tuscany. After a busy day of visiting museums, spend some time with friends and family poolside enjoying a glass of wine - a perfect way to unwind at the end the day. If you enjoy cooking for family and friends there is a well-equipped kitchen including coffee machine, microwave, toaster, stove and refrigerator, as well as, plenty of tableware and cutlery for up to eight people. If you prefer to dine 'al fresco', there is a fully furnished veranda where you can enjoy the weather while dining outdoors.
