The foundations of Villa Medicea Lo Sprocco date back to the 1400s, commissioned by Lorenzo and Giovanni de' Medici, sons of Pier Francesco, and later sold to Taddeo Ducci in 1494. A cornerstone of the ancient Medici lineage, the Villa incorporates an 11th-century Ubaldina tower and was chosen by Lorenzo the Magnificent as a hunting lodge. After passing through the Gherardi family, the property was acquired by the Bolognese de' Bianchi family. Major restorations were initiated in 1898 by Count Filippo Sassoli de' Bianchi to restore its 15th-century appearance, despite significant 18th-century refurbishments, including the still-consecrated Chapel dated 1729. The Villa Principale houses 6 bedrooms including 4 double rooms, 1 triple room, and 1 quadruple room, complemented by a large fully equipped open kitchen and a spacious living room designed for reading, relaxing, and socializing. On the ground floor of the main villa, you will find a welcoming living room, the equipped open kitchen, a bathroom, and 2 double rooms each measuring 180 x 200, both featuring private showers and accessible to guests in wheelchairs, with one also offering access to a private garden. Ascending to the first floor, you will discover a double room measuring 180 x 200 with a private bathroom, living room, and television lounge, followed by another double room of the same dimensions with a private bathroom and television lounge. A third double room on this floor measures 180 x 200 and includes a private bathroom, an additional single bed measuring 90 x 200, a mezzanine floor, and a living room. The family apartment on the first floor consists of a double room measuring 180 x 200 with a private bathroom and 2 additional single beds measuring 90 x 200 positioned on the mezzanine floors, plus a living room with television. Il Fienile, the old barn, contains 3 spacious double suites decorated in natural colors, each arranged over 2 floors. On the ground floor of each suite, you will find a comfortable living room, coffee corner, bathroom with shower, and access to a private garden, while the upper floor features a double bedroom measuring 180 x 200 with television.

Other Information
The estate operates on an exclusive rental basis, offering you complete privacy throughout your stay. Check-in is available from 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm, and check-out must be completed no later than 10:00 am. The changeover day is Saturday, with a minimum stay requirement of 7 nights during high season and 3 nights during low season, though prices for shorter stays are available upon request. The property is available from April 1st to October 31st. Two service options are available to enhance your experience: Option 1 includes concierge service for all your requests along with bed linen and towel change on Wednesday, while Option 2 provides daily breakfast delivery with a housekeeper who will make up the beds and clean the kitchen each morning during a 3-hour service period. External chefs are not permitted at the estate, though you may arrange for a private chef or cooking classes through the property upon request. Social events accommodating more than 22 guests can be organized through the property's partners following management approval. You are required to provide a complete rooming list 1 week before your arrival. A pre-authorization is requested upon arrival for potential damages. Piano tuning services are available if needed during your stay.
