The cottage accommodates up to 7 guests across 2 bedrooms and a well-appointed living area. The first bedroom features a comfortable double bed, while the second is furnished with 2 single beds. The living room includes a sofa bed suitable for 3 persons, ensuring flexible sleeping arrangements for families or small groups. The kitchen-living room is well-equipped and designed for everyday use, and the cottage also benefits from a 43-inch Smart TV, installed in autumn 2024, as well as a satellite dish providing access to news channels in English, German, and Russian. Wireless internet via WLAN is available throughout the property, keeping you connected during your stay. The electric sauna, shower, and separate toilet offer all the essential comforts, while a drying cabinet for clothes adds a practical touch particularly appreciated after outdoor adventures. A fireplace adds warmth and atmosphere to the interior, though please note that the baking oven above the fireplace is not currently in use. The toilet facilities, laundry room, saunas, windows, front door, and floors were all renovated in May and June 2021, ensuring a fresh and well-maintained environment throughout.

In winter, the frozen river offers direct access to sledging, and the snowmobile track is located just 1 km along the road, with the river ice reachable within approximately 50 metres. The cottage yard itself provides direct access to ski tracks, making it exceptionally convenient for winter sports enthusiasts. The natural surroundings invite exploration throughout the year, whether you are fishing along the riverbank in summer or venturing out onto the snow-covered landscape in the colder months.

The tap water at the cottage contains iron, which may affect its smell and taste. However, it has been examined and confirmed as potable, so you can use it with confidence. Fishing is one of the most popular activities in the area, with the Ounas River renowned for its rich stocks of grayling and trout. Fishing permits are required and can be obtained through the website www.ounasjoki.fi, where you will also find information on where to purchase them. During winter, the nearest groomed ski trail is approximately 3 km away at Särestöniemi, from which you can connect to the extensive skiing tracks of both Ylläs and Levi. A connecting track runs directly from Suvantovirta to Särestö from week 8 onwards, subject to snow conditions permitting.
