Situated just 20 metres from the shores of Lake Päijänne, the property offers direct and effortless access to the water, which is characterised by its shallow depth and clay bottom, making it particularly suitable for a relaxed and safe lakeside experience. An own boat is available for your use, allowing you to explore the expansive and scenic waters of Lake Päijänne at your leisure. For outdoor dining and cooking, a portable charcoal BBQ grill is provided, giving you the opportunity to enjoy al fresco meals in the fresh Finnish air. Please be aware that charcoal is not supplied and must be brought with you. The open veranda serves as a natural extension of the living space, offering a sheltered yet open-air setting where you can unwind and appreciate the beauty of the surrounding landscape throughout the day and into the evening.

The cabin was originally constructed in 1983 and underwent a full renovation during spring 2017, ensuring that the property combines the rustic character of a traditional Finnish log cabin with modern standards of comfort and quality. Guests are kindly reminded to bring their own charcoal for use with the portable BBQ grill provided on the property.

The balance is due 65 days before arrival.
For last-minute bookings (within 65 days of arrival) the full amount must be paid at the time of the booking.
In case of cancellation of the booking, even if it is substituted by another one, the following penalties apply:
- the initial deposit (25% of total rent) if the cancellation is made between booking time up to 66 days before arrival date;
- 100% of total rental price if the cancellation is made from 65 days to arrival date or in case of no show.
Booking this property the renter will also receive included in the price a cancellation insurance policy provided by ERV which also covers, among other events, the cancellation in case of positivity to Covid-19.
