An air source heat pump ensures a comfortable indoor climate throughout your stay. A woodshed and storage space are also available on the property, along with an indoor toilet and an additional outdoor toilet for added convenience.

Outdoors

The outdoor spaces of this lakeside cottage are truly one of its most compelling features. Situated just 20 metres from the shoreline of Lake Haukjärvi, a lake stretching 1 km in length and 0.35 km in width with a hard, shallow sandy mud bottom, the property offers direct and easy access to calm, swimmable waters. A private boat is available for guests to explore the lake at their leisure. The lakeshore sauna, also built in 1964 and spanning 15 m², is available for summer use and is equipped with a wood-burning stove, a hot water cauldron, a dressing room, electric lighting, an electric radiator, and a terrace of 20 m². Water for the sauna is carried from the lake, which lies just 5 metres away. A wood-burning hot tub is available at an extra fee and may be used from the 1st of May until the 30th of October each year. The warming and emptying of the hot tub is the responsibility of the guest, while the owner will fill the hot tub prior to the reservation and clean it upon departure. A campfire area and an electric smoker are available upon prior request, and the outdoor space is further enhanced by a selection of outdoor toys and yard games for guests of all ages to enjoy.

Other Information

The cottage is designed for summer use with respect to certain outdoor facilities, particularly the lakeshore sauna and the wood-burning hot tub, which are exclusively available between the 1st of May and the 30th of October each year and cannot be used outside of these months. The electric smoker and campfire facilities are available upon prior request and should be arranged in advance with the owner. The air source heat pump installed within the cottage provides efficient climate control during your stay. In addition to the indoor toilet, an outdoor toilet is also available for guest use. A woodshed and storage space are provided on the premises for practical needs during your stay.
