15 km north from Rovaniemi centre, 8 km north from Arctic Circle, Lake Olkkajärvi 150 m (length of the lake 11 km and width 1,8 km), also a stream in 80 m distance, by stream shore, front of the river side sauna there is a sand bottom swimming place, own rowing boat.

Stone structured 2-storey villa, built in 1938, renovated and refurbished in 2010.
Downstairs: living room with big sofa, dining room/room with fire place, kitchen, bedroom with 2 beds and sofa bed, second bedroom with 3 beds, utility room, wash room (toilet and shower), hallway and glass verandah.
Upstairs: Third bedroom with 3 beds and sofa bed, sauna and washroom/toilet also in upstairs. Please, notice that there isn't television in this villa (please, check the Details).

Hot pool and river side sauna (sauna by a stream) available for extra price, payment on the spot to the owner. Wood heated water tank, water to sauna by pump, dressing room with a stove, electric lighting in sauna building. Villa Apukka exudes history from the time before the Second World War. Originally it was built as a residence to a manager of plant cultivation testing place, rebuilt after war and in 2000s brought to its present splendor.
Villa is suitable for holiday and also for meetings. In dining room there are tables for 20 persons and dishes for 30 persons. Video projector in big living room (also for watching tv programs). Chromecast device can be connected to video projektor (possibility to show smartphone or tablet view with video projector). There are also for example Playstation 4 -console and home theater hardware in the villa.

In the yard area there are for example trampoline, playground and playground slide, sandbox, frisbee basket and other yard games. Kick sleds, snow shoes and snow sledges available. Mini bus (for 9 persons), rental cars and transportation services available from the owner. Catering services, meals, program services and trips also available from the owner.

Nature path starting point in the area, Olkkajärvi boat tramp and harbour 500 m, Arctic circle hiking area 7 km (for example rapids Vaattunkiköngäs and Vikaköngäs), a wide variety of services throughout the year in hiking area; for example marked trails, several rest spots and campfire sites.
