The visitor's tax is charged separately and is paid directly to the landlord on site; guests aged 16 years and above are subject to a nightly charge of CHF 4.50 per person, while guests under 16 years of age are exempt. Bookings cancelled up to 60 days before arrival may be cancelled free of charge, though a handling fee of CHF 100.00 will be retained for any cancellation. For cancellations made less than 60 days before arrival, the tenant has the right to propose a replacement tenant, who must be deemed reasonable and solvent by the landlord. The substitute tenant shall enter into the contract under the existing conditions, and both the tenant and the substitute tenant are jointly and severally liable for the rent. The date of receipt of the cancellation notification by the landlord or the booking office is decisive for determining the applicable cancellation fee; for Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, the next working day applies.
