Property Description

Property Summary

Nestled on the shores of Lake Peruvesi in Pertunmaa, Finland, Onnimökki is a beautifully crafted log cabin that offers an exceptional holiday rental experience for small families and couples seeking a peaceful lakeside retreat. Originally built in 1991 and comprehensively renovated and expanded in 2012, this charming single-story cabin spans 45 m² and seamlessly blends rustic character with modern comfort. The cabin accommodates 2 guests on the ground floor, with additional sleeping space for 3 guests on mattresses in the loft, making it a wonderfully flexible option for those travelling with children. Bed linen is included in the rent, and thoughtful touches such as a baby crib and a high chair ensure that the youngest guests are well catered for.

Outdoors

The outdoor spaces at Onnimökki are among its most captivating features, offering a seamless connection between the cabin and the natural beauty of Lake Peruvesi. The property sits on a flat, sunny lawn that leads directly to the lake, where a private shallow sand beach awaits, making it perfectly safe and accessible for children and ideal for a refreshing swim. A complimentary boat is included in the rental, inviting you to explore the tranquil surrounding waters at your leisure. The spacious porch provides a wonderful setting for outdoor dining, where you can savour your meals while taking in uninterrupted views of the lake. A private grill hut in the yard offers a dedicated space for outdoor cooking and convivial evenings under the open sky. The sauna, equipped with a traditional wood-burning stove, a shower, and a WC, is positioned to allow guests to step directly into the lake for a refreshing dip after a session. Upon request and subject to availability, a portable hot tub can be arranged through the owner, with payment made on-site. As the hot tub is shared across other cabins, it is strongly recommended that you confirm availability well in advance. Once arranged, it will be delivered ready for use directly in the yard.
