The interior is warm and inviting, featuring a separate kitchen corner complete with an atmospheric wood stove, while the living room kitchen is centred around a fireplace and includes a dining set comfortably accommodating 6 people. A good-sized sofa and an armchair furnish the living room, creating a cosy retreat after a day spent exploring the surrounding landscape. The upper floor hosts a motor bed configured as a double bed along with 2 separate beds of 120 cm width each, all situated within the same open space yet thoughtfully partitioned into a defined sleeping area by a wardrobe. A small balcony accessible from the upper floor offers a delightful view over the courtyard sauna and the gently flowing stream below.

Outdoors

The outdoor spaces of this log cabin are intimately connected with the natural environment that surrounds it. A wood-heated sauna with hot water provided directly from the heater is located in the courtyard and remains available throughout the entire year, offering a quintessential Finnish sauna experience in every season. The sauna is accompanied by a dressing room and leads via a staircase directly down to the stream, where a platform and terrace await at the base of the steps, complete with a ladder for easy water access. It is worth noting that the stream itself is not suitable for swimming due to its natural mud bottom, however the setting remains scenic and deeply atmospheric. On the beach area, a campfire place provides the perfect spot for evening gatherings, and a porch with a door offers additional sheltered outdoor space. A rowing boat is available for guests wishing to reach Sapsojärvi, located approximately 400 metres away, and guests who plan to use the boat are kindly asked to bring their own life jackets. At the far end of the stream, at the head of the promontory on the Sapsojärvi side, a sandy swimming spot with good conditions is accessible and may be used freely by guests. This beach area also features some old buildings that are not intended for tenant use, though the beach itself is open for enjoyment. The courtyard and surrounding grounds invite quiet contemplation and close connection with the Finnish natural landscape.

The separate shed building on the property includes a sleeping loft with alternative beds for 2 guests, making it a suitable option for those who prefer additional privacy. The use of the shed can be negotiated directly with the maintenance team and may be made available during the summer season.
