The lakeside sauna, built in 1994 and renovated in 2024, is a true highlight of the exterior offering. Equipped with a wood-burning stove and a water cauldron, it provides an authentic Finnish sauna experience steps from the water's edge. The sauna building also includes a fireplace room with a refrigerator and a sofa bed, which provides 2 additional sleeping places during the summer months. During winter, the frozen lake offers the possibility of ice swimming through an ice hole, with all necessary equipment available on-site.

Villa Vehmas operates under a set of practical arrangements designed to ensure a comfortable and well-organised stay. During the winter season, guests have the option to create an ice hole for swimming independently using the equipment provided at the cabin, or alternatively, the owner can prepare one on your behalf for a fee payable in cash on-site. Electric vehicle charging is available directly at the property via a standard plug, subject to a separately agreed additional fee payable to the owner on-site. This arrangement must be confirmed in advance to ensure availability and proper coordination with the owner.
