The property accommodates guests across 2 distinct sleeping areas. The main living area on the ground floor features a welcoming space complete with a dining set, a television, a heat-storing fireplace, and a sofa bed that provides extra sleeping space for 2 guests, complemented by a high-quality, thick mattress topper. The fully equipped kitchenette allows you to prepare meals with ease during your stay. The loft level houses 3 beds and an additional sofa bed capable of accommodating 1 further sleeper, with a child safety gate installed for added safety. The cabin is equipped with a wood-heated sauna, a separate bathroom with a shower, and a separate WC. A PlayStation 3, which also functions as a DVD player, is available for your entertainment, and an air conditioner is provided on the upper floor for added comfort.

Outdoors

The outdoor spaces of this log cabin are a true highlight, offering direct access to the natural beauty of Lake Korhosjärvi. The property features a shallow, sandy-bottom beach ideal for safe swimming, along with a private pier and a rowing boat, allowing you to explore the clean, fish-rich waters at your leisure. Lake Korhosjärvi is known for its excellent fishing, and species such as zander are commonly caught here. In the yard, a grill hut with a masonry wood-fired fireplace provides a wonderful setting for outdoor dining and gatherings in any season. A kettle grill is also available on the property, though you are kindly asked to supply your own charcoal and lighter fluid. A hot tub is available for an additional fee, subject to availability, and must be reserved separately, as it is shared between 2 cabins and relocated as needed. Please be aware that the hot tub cannot be used when outdoor temperatures fall below -20 degrees Celsius.

Other Information

The cabin is heated by a heat-storing fireplace and a wood-heated sauna stove, ensuring warmth and comfort throughout colder seasons. An air conditioner is available on the upper floor for warmer periods. A child safety gate is installed on the loft level for the safety of younger guests. A PlayStation 3 is provided for entertainment and is also capable of playing DVDs. It is possible to rent a 2 hp outboard motor for use on the lake, as well as a SUP board, both of which are shared between 2 cabins and subject to availability, which must be confirmed directly with the owner prior to your stay. The hot tub is an optional add-on available for 2 days, for a week, or for 4 days from Monday to Thursday, and requires a separate reservation due to its shared nature between 2 cabins.

The cabin is situated approximately 100 km from Tampere, making it a convenient yet genuinely secluded destination. The surrounding area of Kihniö offers outstanding opportunities for outdoor activities throughout the year. Excellent hiking, skiing, and snowmobile trails are located in the immediate vicinity. The Kihniö municipal fitness trail, which doubles as a cross-country ski trail during winter, is approximately 2 km from the property, while an illuminated ski trail can be found just 3 km away, making evening skiing a practical and enjoyable option during the winter months.
