The flat's location allows you to walk to the chair lift in about 8 minutes, which will transport you to the large Laax/Flims ski area in 8 minutes. After 4 minutes you will reach the village centre, where there is also a grocery store. From there you could also take the shuttle bus for the remainder of the journey to the chairlift. If you desire additional convenience, you can hire a ski locker at the Falera valley station with space for 2 pairs, accommodating boots and helmets, allowing you to walk up to the lift comfortably in normal boots. Falera offers a wide range of activities in both winter and summer that will delight visitors of all ages. During winter, the ski area features 28 lifts and 224 kilometres of pistes, making it one of the largest in Switzerland. Snowboarders are particularly spoilt in Laax with its own halfpipes and parks, and access to the ski area from Falera is ideal.
