The property offers mountain views and overlooks the valley of the White Rain. You will benefit from the house's own car park with more than 10 private outdoor parking spaces, which can be used free of charge during your vacation. The Frahelsbruck train station is approximately 1,000 metres away from the property. The Postwirt country inn is just a few steps away, while the main town of Lam is 1.5 kilometres away, where you will find several pubs, shops, an ice cream parlour and a small Italian restaurant. The accommodation is a detached house that is not observable from the street, and the owner lives on the property. Please note that no youth groups are permitted. Smart TVs are installed in all living rooms and flatscreens in all bedrooms, and in the book and games bar there is a 65-inch flatscreen TV for shared use and for the Wii. The book and games bar offers a Wii with games and accessories, board games and around 300 books, making it an ideal space for get-togethers with friends during shared stays, including eating together (though cooking and preparation is done in your own holiday flat). The wellness and sauna area was completed at the end of 2021, featuring 75 square metres with two spacious showers, a small lounge area and six comfortable loungers. You will find both a classic Finnish sauna and a fantastic infrared cabin for two people, with hot water, tea, and sauna towels available free of charge (please bring bathrobes and slippers). The fitness centre, located on the same level as the games and book bar and the sun terrace, offers large windows with great mountain views and direct access to the balcony and sun terrace. Two cross trainers, a spinning bike and a recumbent bike are available for your training needs. A separate drying and ski room is available right next to the main entrance for cleaning and drying clothes and shoes, ensuring you don't need to bring wet dirty items into your flat. The garden plot covers a good 3,000 square metres and can be used in its entirety. The public viewing terrace, measuring 60 square metres and directly adjacent to the book and games bar, offers magnificent mountain views. You can relax at any time in the lounge furniture, with the large south-west-facing terrace providing a beautiful view. A separate area for smokers has been set up at the front of the house, which is the only public area where smoking is permitted. For families, a high chair, playground equipment, and party games for children are available. Party games for adults and fitness equipment are also provided. Your holiday region between Osser, Arber and Kaitersberg in the Bavarian Forest features endless forests, crystal-clear streams and air that makes it worth taking a deep breath. Nestled in a horseshoe-shaped mountain range, framed by most of the one-thousand metre peaks of the Bavarian Forest, is Lamer Winkel with its three villages of Arrach, Lam and Lohberg. This landscape with its unspoilt nature is best explored on foot or by (e-)bike. If you are looking for history and culture, you can hike along the Künischer Grenzweg trail along the former Iron Curtain across to Bohemia and discover winding smugglers' trails. Scenic gems such as the Großer Arbersee, Kleiner Arbersee, Teufelssee and Schwarzer See lakes, the original farmsteads of the forest farmers, the proximity to the Bavarian Forest and Bohemian Forest National Parks, as well as a wide range of gastronomy make this natural holiday region incomparable.
