Outdoors

The outdoor spaces of Villa Giomoa are nothing short of extraordinary, seamlessly blending natural beauty with thoughtfully designed leisure areas. The large panoramic terrace on the first floor, covered by an elegant zero-impact wooden pergola with a thatch roof, offers sweeping sea views and is furnished with a dining area and an outdoor living area where you can savour the Mediterranean breeze and the scents of the surrounding scrubland. A flight of steps leads directly from this terrace down to the pool area. The private swimming pool, situated just 5 meters from the villa on the same level as the ground floor, is the centrepiece of a porous stoneware area bordered by lawn. The rectangular pool is lined in PVC and measures 4 x 8 m with a constant depth of 1.20 m. It features chlorine purification, 7 steps for water access, and a solar shower. The pool is non-heated and is open from the last Saturday of April to the first Saturday of October. A pergola with a table and seating, sunbeds, deckchairs and additional furnishing accessories surround the pool area, which is also illuminated by interior and exterior lighting, allowing you to enjoy the space during the evening and at night. At the rear of the villa, a traditional brickwork barbecue completes the outdoor offering. The enclosed park of 3,000 sq m provides numerous natural shaded areas thanks to its mature trees, and a dedicated footpath leads directly from the garden to the beach of Straccoligno, located just 100 metres away. Please be aware that photographs of the property were taken in spring, and therefore the flowering of plants and the colour of the garden grass may differ from what you find upon arrival.

Villa Giomoa is a two-floor residence designed to comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests across 4 well-appointed bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The main entrance on the first floor opens into a large, bright open-plan living, kitchen and dining area, which flows through generous French windows onto the panoramic furnished terrace overlooking the sea and pool. The first floor also features a sleeping area comprising 2 bathrooms with shower, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom with joinable beds, both of which enjoy direct access to the garden. A semi-spiral staircase connects the first floor to the ground floor, where a hallway with a bathroom with shower leads into a second open-plan living, kitchen and dining area. The ground floor is completed by an additional bathroom with shower, a twin bedroom with joinable beds and a further double bedroom. All open-plan areas and bedrooms on the ground floor benefit from direct access to the pool area, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor living experience.

Villa Giomoa operates a pet policy that permits small-sized animals on request only. The property benefits from a Zer0Dep Guarantee, meaning guests are not required to pay a security deposit either on balance or upon arrival. This guarantee includes EuropAssistance coverage in the event of accidental damage to the property during the stay, up to a maximum of 1,500 euros and subject to the limitations provided by the policy. The private parking area within the property accommodates up to 4 vehicles and is uncovered. The pool is open from the last Saturday of April to the first Saturday of October.

It is an ideal departure point for boat excursions to the nearby coves and beaches of Ferrato, Malpasso, Calanova, Istia and others, as well as to Capo Perla beach, where the imposing Forte Focardo fortress, built by the Spanish in 1678, stands as a striking historical landmark. The town of Capoliveri, one of the 7 municipalities of the Island of Elba, is located 4 km from the villa and is characterised by its medieval borgo atmosphere, with narrow arched alleyways known as chiassi that conceal artisan workshops, welcoming bars, excellent restaurants and characteristic shops. The villa is also positioned at the entrance to the Costa dei Gabbiani Nature Reserve, offering guests direct access to one of the island's most pristine natural environments.
