Have been to Pognana Lario / La Cava three times; we love the area and the facilities and especially the view from the terrace: You can argue that the apartments are a bit old fashioned, but we don't mind that the kitchen is small; it gives a bit of a "camping feeling". Still think the look of the apartment "holds", since it is light and simple. This time around it was very hot, and a couple of more fans would be great, since air condition is not installed. Be aware as well, that you get to train staps when at La Cava, so not for poeple with a walking disability.
