Nestled in the heart of Finland, this charming log cabin holiday rental is set on the shores of the legendary Lake Saimaa in Puumala, approximately 65 km southwest of Savonlinna. Built in 1998, the cabin offers a warm and authentic Scandinavian retreat for up to 6 guests, combining rustic character with comfortable amenities across 2 floors. The ground floor features a well-appointed living room and kitchen area, a bedroom with a double bed (140 cm), an electric sauna, a washroom — both of which were fully renovated in 2014 — a toilet, and a welcoming veranda. On the upper floor, you will find a second bedroom with a double bed, a sleeping loft where 2 extra beds can be arranged using the sofa, and a private balcony offering lovely views of the surrounding natural landscape.

The outdoor spaces of this cabin invite you to fully immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of the Finnish lakeside environment. The property sits just 35 metres from the crystal-clear waters of Lake Saimaa, where the shoreline features a rocky edge with deep water and a hard rock and sandy bottom. A private pier and a rowing boat are available for your use, allowing you to explore the calm lake at your own pace. A shared beach, used in common with 2 other cottages, is located 250 metres from the property and is particularly well suited for children, offering a safe and enjoyable space for younger guests to play and swim. The veranda on the ground floor and the balcony on the upper floor provide ideal spots to relax outdoors, breathe in the fresh lake air, and enjoy the serene natural surroundings that define this exceptional lakeside setting.

A mandatory cleaning deposit of 150 € is payable upon arrival. The sauna available at the property is equipped with an electric sauna stove, offering a quintessentially Finnish experience throughout your stay. The washroom and sauna were renovated in 2014, ensuring a fresh and well-maintained standard of comfort. On the upper floor, the sleeping loft offers the possibility to accommodate 2 additional guests by making use of the sofa, making the cabin a flexible option for small groups or families.

The balance is due 65 days before arrival.
For last-minute bookings (within 65 days of arrival) the full amount must be paid at the time of the booking.
In case of cancellation of the booking, even if it is substituted by another one, the following penalties apply:
- the initial deposit (25% of total rent) if the cancellation is made between booking time up to 66 days before arrival date;
- 100% of total rental price if the cancellation is made from 65 days to arrival date or in case of no show.
Booking this property the renter will also receive included in the price a cancellation insurance policy provided by ERV which also covers, among other events, the cancellation in case of positivity to Covid-19.
