Built in 1997, the property offers an authentic and immersive holiday rental experience in a serene natural setting along the shores of Lake Kallavesi, specifically the Hormalahti bay. The cottage accommodates guests across 2 sleeping areas: a ground floor bedroom with a double bed and an upper floor with 5 extra beds, while the living room and kitchen area provides 2 additional extra beds, bringing the total sleeping capacity to a generous number of guests. The layout also includes a dressing room, a washroom, a sauna, and an open porch. Following a thoughtful renovation in 2019, the sauna, shower room, toilet, hallway, and kitchen furniture were all remodelled to a high standard, ensuring a comfortable and contemporary stay within a traditional log structure. The downstairs living room is equipped with a Samsung 49-inch QLED TV and a soundbar and subwoofer system with audiodigital sound, providing excellent entertainment options. Wireless internet Wi-Fi connectivity is available throughout the property, keeping you seamlessly connected during your stay.

The cottage sits just 30 metres from the lake shore, which features a shallow, hard-sanded waterfront ideal for safe and easy access to the water. The opposite shore lies approximately 350 metres away, offering a picturesque and tranquil panorama across the bay. Both a rowing boat and a motor boat are available for guests to use, inviting you to explore the surrounding waters at your leisure. The open porch provides a welcoming outdoor space where you can relax and take in the natural beauty of the Finnish lakeside landscape, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere that defines this exceptional setting.

Other Information

A local fishing licence for the Putroniemi area is included in the cottage price, allowing you to enjoy fishing in the surrounding waters without any additional arrangement for the local permit. Please be aware that in addition to the included local licence, you are required to independently purchase and pay the state Fisheries management fee. The property is equipped with an ABB Terra electric car charging station featuring a fixed cable, as shown in the property pictures. To activate the charging point, you simply use the RFID card provided at the cottage, and payment for electricity consumption is settled directly with the owner at a rate of 18 cents per kWh based on actual usage.
