Nestled in the heart of Finland, this charming log cabin holiday rental is located in the Kangasniemi region, approximately 67 kilometres north-west of Mikkeli. Originally built in 2001 and partly renovated in 2017, the property offers a warm and authentic lakeside retreat for those seeking a genuine Finnish countryside experience. The cabin is thoughtfully arranged across multiple levels to accommodate guests comfortably. On the ground floor, you will find a well-equipped kitchen, a welcoming living room, a bedroom with a double bed, a second bedroom with 2 single beds, a dressing room with toilet, a washroom, and a sauna fitted with an electric stove. A covered terrace extends the living space outdoors, providing a sheltered area to enjoy the surrounding natural scenery. Upstairs, a third bedroom features a 120 cm wide bed, while the upper lobby area offers 2 additional beds, and a balcony allows you to take in the peaceful views. Please be aware that access to the upper level is via steep stairs, and a child safety gate is installed at the base. The property is equipped with an air source heat pump for efficient climate control throughout the year, and a WiFi internet connection ensures you remain connected during your stay. By prior arrangement, an additional table and chairs are also available, making the cabin particularly suitable for teleworking.

The outdoor spaces of this property are defined by their direct relationship with the natural lakeside environment. Lake Puulavesi lies just 25 metres from the cabin, offering shallow water with a sandy bottom that gradually transitions to a mud bottom further out. A private boat is available for guests, inviting you to explore the lake at your leisure. A covered terrace provides a comfortable outdoor seating and dining area directly accessible from the main cabin, ideal for relaxing evenings in the open air. The property also includes a separate lakeside sauna building constructed in 2001, spanning 20 square metres and equipped with electricity, a dressing room, and a fireplace set within a glazed terrace. This lakeside sauna can be enjoyed throughout all seasons of the year. A garage is also available on the property.

The lakeside sauna, while fully functional year-round, does not have running water, which guests should bear in mind when planning their use of this facility. The cabin benefits from an air source heat pump, ensuring a comfortable indoor temperature regardless of the season. Access to the upper sleeping area is via steep stairs, and a child safety gate is fitted at the lower level for the safety of younger guests. An additional table and chairs can be made available upon prior arrangement, for example to support teleworking needs during your stay.
