River generally has snowmobile tracks along it in winter, making skiing easier. Official snowmobile trail approx. 2 km away. Opportunities to catch small game with owner. Outboard motor, snowmobile and 2 mountain bikes for hire. 3 km away are Yliranta riding stables, where horse riding opportunities. River Iijoki estuary 15 km and the Ii old harbour 10 km.
