This is the perfect place for families and for those wishing to experience Lofoten. During bright spring and summer nights, you will want to sit out all night and enjoy the scenery being draped in red by the midnight sun. In winter, Northern Lights colourfully moving across the sky are impressive to watch. The yard of the house is child-friendly. 200 meters to the ocean with several sandy beaches. On stormy days, the big ocean waves hitting the beach are fascinating to watch. There are several hiking trails nearby, and walking up the mountain will give you a magnificent view. 12 km to the fishing village Laukvik with grocery store and restaurant. 40 km to Svolvær, Lofotens unofficial capital. Sand is a great starting location for day excursions by car in Lofoten. Boat and motor is available for rent in Laukvik. The kitchen has an electric kettle.
