The cottage accommodates up to 5 guests across well-considered living spaces that blend rustic character with practical comfort. The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed, while the combined kitchen and living room features a convertible sofa suitable for 2 guests. A spacious loft of 30 square metres provides additional sleeping arrangements with 3 beds, making the property well suited for small groups or families. The cottage is also equipped with an electric sauna, a hallmark of traditional Finnish hospitality that enhances the overall sense of relaxation and wellbeing.

Outdoors

The outdoor spaces of this log cottage are designed to make the most of the stunning lakeside surroundings. The property sits directly on the shore of Lake Kuontijärvi, just 30 metres away, where a sanded entry point offers easy access to the water, though guests should be aware that the lakebed is otherwise soft and muddy in nature. A rowing boat is available for guests to explore the calm waters of the lake at their leisure. For outdoor dining and cooking, the property is equipped with both a gas grill and a traditional wood-burning grill, allowing guests to enjoy al fresco meals in the open air. Please note that the gas grill is available for use exclusively during the period from 1 June to 30 September, while the wood-burning grill remains available throughout the stay. A hot tub is present on the property grounds; however, it is not in use and is not available for rental to guests.

Other Information

The cottage operates with electric heating, consistent with the energy systems found throughout the property, including the electric sauna. Guests are kindly reminded that the hot tub located on the premises is not in service and cannot be used during their stay. The gas grill is strictly reserved for use between 1 June and 30 September, as indicated by the property guidelines, and guests wishing to grill outside of this period may make use of the wood-burning grill instead.
