Excellent 5 /5Our (four adults) rental at Casa Lina was for four weeks during September 2011. Casa Lina is in the town of Lucignano, which was built in the late 1300’s. The apartment, which overlooks the main entrance into town, has two modern bathrooms and kitchen, very confortable beds, numerous bedroom closets, more than adequate lighting in the bedrooms for reading and was extremely clean. The swimming pool located over a mile out of town was large, well maintained and a welcome treat during a heat spell. The owners, Luigi and Andolina were helpful and gracious.
Our favorite two restaurants in town were Nice People and Lo Schicchero. Andrea Baccheschi from Tuscany Wines (http://www.tuscanywines.it/), who escorted us on wine tours during previous stays, provided an excellent selection of wines.
