We visited during the peak holiday week, consequently if you used your car, parking was very limited. We walked the 380 steps to the beach daily, 10 minutes down but a very hot 15 minute hike back up. The private beaches charge upwards of 25 euros for the day but some have excellent facilities. Our owner recommended a supermarket and we tended to cook most evenings as it was too awkward to drive back into the town. The view from the balcony was great and the reason we booked the place.
