The upper floor is a spacious area offering 4 single beds and a private balcony, providing elevated views over the surrounding natural landscape. Villa White Water is a wonderful destination next to the longest free-flowing Tornion River in Europe, on the banks of the Vuenonkoski rapids, only 30 meters from the river.
From the terrace of the cottage and the lean-to on the shore, there are great views of the far upstream rapids, and especially the spring ice break is a wonderful experience.
Villa White Water is a two-story Honkarakenne holiday home with thermal log construction. It has 80 m2, a living room, a kitchen-living room, two bedrooms, the first has 2 beds (width 90 cm), the second bedroom has a double bed (width 160 cm, beds available separately). The loft has 2 beds (width 80 cm). Electric sauna, washroom (1 shower) and a separate toilet. The cottage has underfloor heating, an air-source heat pump and a fireplace.
The west terrace opening onto the river is the entire length of the house, where you can grill and relax. There is a carport and a large lockable storage room in the yard.
There is a floodlit ski trail at Ainiovaara ski resort (20 km) and skiing is possible on the slopes of Aavasaksa (25 km). The border crossing to Sweden is 25 km north of the cottage at Aavasaksa.
The Tornionjoki River is famous for its salmon and whitefish and fishing is possible from the cottage shore. The current is strong, so it is not suitable for swimming. There are great berry picking opportunities in the area. Villa White Water
