If eating great food and drinking excellent wines is a big part of any vacation for you, then a villa in Spain is the perfect fit. For those who love a bargain and want to stretch their dining budget as far as it will go, it might also be worth considering which cities and areas offer the best value for money for these items so we have put a guide together to help you find your ideal location and plan a dream foodie getaway in Spain. Here are some of the towns and cities in Spain that have the best price for a glass of wine during a magical holiday...

Granada
Often a key destination anyway for foodies as it is a location where the traditional Spanish tapas culture is still firmly in place, offering those who purchase a drink a pretty substantial tapa with their beverage for free, Granada also has decent prices in general. A glass of wine will typically only set you back two to three euros so between two or three drinks with your free tapas, a very pleasant evening meal could cost you less than ten euros! This is also a nice way to get out, wander, and explore the city a little bit so book a villa in Granada itself to really dive into it or simply come visit on a day trip during a stay in one of our incredible vacation rentals in Andalusia.

Cadiz
Another charming spot with bargains-a-plenty in Andalusia, this port city is located in the southern tip of the region. Cádiz has a very walkable centre, meaning you won't have to spend on transportation if you're up for a bit of a stroll, and offers a range of free attractions like the Roman theatre and old city walls, in addition to the general low cost of living. A glass of wine in a restaurant will cost you between two fifty and three fifty on average while a whole bottle to be enjoyed on a beach picnic or back in our villa in Andalusia can be acquired at a grocery store for less than five euros.

Begur
Those who holiday in Catalonia may be worried about higher prices and, certainly, you can expect to pay more if you are in Barcelona or a famous resort but head to a smaller town and bargains are still to be found. Book a vacation rental in Begur or stay in a villa on the Costa Brava, generally, and you'll find some spots where you'll be able to grab a wine (and maybe a seaside view!) for a steal. As with all of these destinations, bargains are best found in a small, local restaurant or bar a little off the beaten path and away from mass tourism. Then, order a glass of something local and you'll likely find it only costs a couple of euros...
Seville
Sunny and impossibly pretty, Seville is another place where those who wander past touristy areas will be rewarded. A particular tip for this part of the world is to not only pick a local little spot and order a local wine but to indulge in the orange wines of the area, especially. Not only will it be more inexpensive, it is one of the great culinary wonders on offer if you are booking a holiday rental in Andalusia.

Teulada
Not only is the price of a glass of wine around the average Spanish price of between two and four euros in the town of Teulada in Valencia but a glass of wine is often included in the price of Menú del día (a set lunchtime meal menu that is large and inexpensive). Touring a vineyard is another great and inexpensive way to experience the wines of the area, with average prices of under thirty euros for a perfect afternoon and some delicious local wines. Just browse our villas in Valencia and come dive into this region's rich wine culture on your next vacation!
