Guests are kindly reminded that the property photographs were taken in spring, and therefore the blossoming of flowers and the colour of the garden grass may differ at the time of arrival. The non-heated swimming pool, with its distinctive irregular kidney-bean shape measuring 11 x 8 m and a depth ranging from 1.40 m to 2.20 m, is positioned on a slightly lower level than the basement and is just 25 m from the house. It features salt purification, a steel ladder for water entry, and internal lighting, and is entirely enclosed by a wooden fence for privacy and safety. The surrounding 150 sq m solarium area is partly grass and partly covered in terracotta tiles, furnished with sunbeds, a gazebo with armchairs, and an outdoor hot and cold-water shower. A few steps lead down to the pool from the basement level, while from the ground floor it is reached via a short flight of steps at the side of the terrace. The pool is available from the last Saturday of April to the first Saturday of October. Approximately 150 m from the property, guests will also find a synthetic grass tennis court and a soccer field.

The ground floor is accessed through a main entrance that leads into a small hallway, from which a large living room opens up, complete with a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, and direct access to the terrace. Also on the ground floor, a double bedroom is available alongside a toilet. A travertine staircase leads from the ground floor up to the first floor, where 2 additional bedrooms are located: a twin bedroom with joinable beds and a separate bathroom with shower, as well as a further bedroom featuring an ensuite bathroom with shower.

The farmhouse has a beautiful interior court yard, and about 50 m away is a completely renovated barn. In 1996 we moved to the Crete Senesi and we fell in love with this farmhouse Etruscan origins, medieval mill, peace and tranquillity. That’s why we decided to share it with our guests and their four-legged friends.
The farm keeps the whole family busy: Alessandro (biologist, nature guide and Sommelier), Elisa who looks after the administration, Mauro and Paola, retired but full time busy on the farm. And we hope that in the future even Emma and Guido will give us a helping hand.
We produce vegetables and fruit, olive oil and truffles from organic agriculture.
For our guests we organize a rich programme of initiatives discovering the colours and flavours of the Crete, wine tasting in our cosy winery and excursions by bike guided by Alessandro who is fond of cycling.
