You will leave your heart in Cortona, in its paved alleys that climb up the hill, you will immerse yourself in an almost magical atmosphere, as if suspended in time.
Don't forget to dine in one of the countless restaurants and trattorias in the historic centre; our advice is definitely local red wine and a nice Tagliata of Chianina beef!
Until a few years ago the house was the heart of a large farm, then a recent and careful renovation, which the owners carried out with love and care to keep the old features of the villa unaltered, transformed it into a cosy holiday home.
Still next to the house you will find the wine cellar where the owner produces excellent wine (Vino DOC Cortona), which you can taste for free during your holiday.
All around the house you will have at your disposal a large green area equipped with gazebo, table and chairs for your outdoor dinners in company, barbecue, games for children and shaded parking spaces. At the back of the house is the large swimming pool (size 6x12 m, depth 1.20-1.40 m - open from 01st May to 30th September) for your exclusive use. A separate library with a fireplace and satellite TV offers a refined space for relaxation, while a studio equipped with a phone, fax machine, and printer is also available, along with a mobile phone provided for guest use.
The night section on the ground floor comprises 1 double bedroom with beds that can be converted into 2 single beds, 1 single bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower, a laundry room with a washing machine, and a second bathroom with shower. The upper floor features 1 double bedroom with beds that can be converted into 2 singles upon request, a walk-in closet, and a private bathroom with a bathtub and separate shower. Check-in time is Saturday from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and you must provide your arrival details to the owner at least 2 weeks prior to your arrival since check-in begins at 3:00 PM by appointment. Departure time is Saturday at 10:00 AM. Upon arrival at the property, you are required to provide a photocopy of each traveler's passport and sign a form for the local authorities. A security deposit is required upon arrival, payable in cash to the property representative, and will be returned to you prior to your departure minus any accidental damages to the property. Please note that fans are not usable at this property. Heating in Italy is allowed by law from November 1 through April 1, with some exceptions for extreme weather conditions. Television service includes English channels available for your viewing. Dogs are accepted upon request. Baby beds and chairs are available upon request to accommodate families with young children.
