Casale Aiola is an old stone farmhouse divided into two parts. In one part of the house lives the owner who, with his discreet presence, will be a sure reference point for any need.
The farmhouse is located about 25 km from the beautiful Cortona, in Tuscany and about 15 km from the village of Trestina, in Umbria. You can do your shopping in either Cortona or Trestina, both of which have shops, supermarkets and services.
From here you have easy access to green Umbria, with its small villages nestled in the lush hills and bucolic landscapes of Lake Trasimeno, Perugia is only 60 km away.
Similarly, once you have reached Cortona, the splendid towns and cities of southern Tuscany will open up for you to discover. From Cortona to the farmhouse the road is perhaps a little long, even though it is all paved. But once you are there you will be rewarded with the absolute tranquillity of the place.
In our opinion Casale Aiola is definitely suitable for groups of families with children. The large green space around the house is perfect for the little ones to run and play in the middle of nature. Also available, in front of the house, is a children's swimming pool (size m. 4x8 - depth 0.60 m. - open from 15 May to 30th September), table tennis, table football, children's games and a bowling green. Pets are welcome (extra charge could be required).
For adults and children there is a large private swimming pool (size 9x16 m. -depth 1,20 m. completely fenced - open from 15 May to 30th September) with bathroom with shower and a small gazebo with fridge to cool down on hot summer days and the tennis court.

During the warmer months, the outdoor living experience expands beneath a large portico furnished with tables and chairs, where guests can gather and relax overlooking the pool. A few meters away, a dedicated brick structure houses a kitchen equipped with a wood-burning oven, positioned beside a stone barbecue sheltered by a tall rosemary bush, creating an ideal setting for alfresco cooking and dining. The grounds also feature a boules court and a volleyball field for recreational enjoyment. At the far edge of the property, approximately 200 meters from the house, a private lake is available to guests who wish to try their hand at fishing. The non-heated swimming pool is located in the most secluded and panoramic section of the property, on a lower terraced level approximately 20 metres from the main house, accessible via a short flight of steps from the rear of the villa. The rectangular pool measures 7 x 15 metres, with a depth ranging from 1 to 2.20 metres. Lined in PVC and bordered by terracotta paving, it features chlorine purification and a metal ladder for water access. Spread across the surrounding lawn are umbrellas, tables, chairs, sunbeds, and 3 gazebos with comfortable seating areas, as well as a cold-water shower. A changing room and 2 bathrooms with shower are also available in the pool area. The pool is open from the last Saturday of April until the first Saturday of October. Please be aware that the garden photographs were taken in spring, so the appearance of flowers and lawn colours may vary at the time of your arrival.

A stone staircase at the entrance leads to the first floor, where a billiard room serves as the central hub around which the bedrooms on this level are arranged. A further double bedroom and twin bedroom with joinable beds share an additional bathroom with a bathtub.
On the second floor, 2 twin bedrooms each offer 2 queen-size beds and en-suite bathrooms with a bathtub. A double bedroom on this floor also benefits from an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub. It is worth noting that one wing of the villa serves as the private residence of the caretakers, accessed entirely independently. Their presence will in no way affect guests' enjoyment of the park and pool, which remain at the complete disposal of all guests throughout the stay.

Rectangular in shape, the non-heated pool measures 16 x 8 metres with a depth varying from 0.90 metres to 1.80 metres. It is lined in PVC in a grey-black colour, and access to the water is provided via Roman steps. In the shallow section of the pool, it is possible to create a dedicated children's area by closing off this zone with a net. The pool is equipped with whirlpool vents, both external and internal lighting, and a chlorine purification plant. The surrounding solarium area is finished in travertine and lawn and is furnished with a gazebo with sofa, sunbeds, small tables, umbrellas, chairs, armchairs, and an outdoor shower with hot and cold water. The pool is open from the last Saturday of April to the first Saturday of October. At the entrance to the ground floor, a cool gazebo with sofas and armchairs provides an ideal setting for reading and moments of quiet relaxation.
