This is a lovely comfortable house in a beautiful part of Italy, just on the border with Tuscany and Lazio. The house is cool inside, nice open-plan living area downstairs and a good kitchen. The gardens around the house is lovely, and the pool, although small, and not deep, was a welcome relief from the hot sun.

This was a fantastic holiday; the property is stuated on a hillside, surrounded by vinyards, overlooking fields of sunflowers with stunning views from the terrace - what more could you ask for? The owners will cook a meal for you and serve it on your terrace as the sun sets. We had three meals of typical tuscan food (one of them provided free of charge) the setting was perfect and the food was excellent.

Our group of 10 stayed at the property in July 2007. It was an absolutely amazing experience. The villa was everything it was promised and Rosado was extremly kind and helpful. The town of Monterchi is a wonderful escape from the tourist Italy that is Siena, Pisa, Florence. It is a wonderful little town of Italians, not tourists. The people were so kind and warm that we did not think such hospitality still existed. It is still a very reasonable drive to major tourist sites but it was always wonderful to come back to Monterchi. I would whole heartedly recommend Plazzo Rosadi to anyone. We have already booked for the summer of 2008. Ciao!

In general, this is a fabulous central location for the region and a lovely villa. The house, pool and garden were delightful, well stocked and comfortable. The air conditioning units in the bedrooms are a huge advantage in the summer months. However, both driveway entrances/exits to the villa are unpaved, steep, and dangerously located at blind intersections on the main and very busy road to Cortona. We did feel like we were taking a serious risk everytime we had to drive in or out of the villa, and we are experienced drivers in Italy. It is also unrealistic to expect to walk anywhere from the villa, except perhaps on the main road a short distance to a bus stop. There is also a significant difference between the two bedrooms -- one clearly a master bedroom, with ample closets, dressers, side-tables, etc and a master bathroom next to it. The other is clearly a second bedroom with two twin beds, a small closet but no dresser or other storage. The second full bathroom is located downstairs and again, has no storage cabinets, counter space. For two couples sharing the villa the inequities of the space might be problematic. For a family with children (who are old enough to safely navigate a steep open stairway to the second floor), its probably a great set-up.

Fantastic villa in a beautiful location 20 mins drive from a beautiful city. Our teenage boys loved the pool area so much they hardly budged. Invaluable mosquito screens meant windows could be kept open and the villa remained cool from the regular mountain breezes. Spacious & comfortable and v helpful owner. John M, York, N Yorkshire.

I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Torre del Cielo. The villa is beautifully restored and the owners and his family go above and beyond in trying to accommodate every request and make you feel relaxed and at home in your new surroundings. They are truly wonderful people. My family and I look forward to returning to visit Torre del Cielo in the not too distant future. Marguerita - New Jersey

Our stay at the Zurly villa was a rewarding and memorable experience. This was to a great extent due to the friendly and helpful owners of the villa. The villa is very confortable, well equipped and is surrounded with a large well kept beautiful garden. For us the location of the villa was important. When making our daily sightseeing trips we could easily reach by car most places of interest.

The Website pictures do not do the property justice. Having stayed at various Villas (in this price bracket) throughout Europe, this property is up there with the best. If you enjoy Carp fishing the pond is well stocked.

The location is wonderful, centrally located for Sienna, Florence, the Chianti region, etc, and only minutes away from San Gimignano. The view from the property's garden of the latter and the surrounding countryside is unbeatable. The family who own it are friendly (even their dog) and give their guests as much privacy as needed.

We had a wonderful week at Villa Fabbroni. It was lovely and the pool was very cool looking over the mountains in between olive trees. The apartment was spacious and well equipped. Our hosts were welcoming and very informative about Tuscany. The meals we ate at the villa were delicious and I recommend the Tuesday Night pizza. The villa is a great place for families and we hope to return there in the future.
