Bei Ankunft erschrickt man zuerst einmal wegen der ungepflegten Außenanlage. Der Lift ist nicht zu gebrauchen (Türen zusammengerostet, anstelle der Drücker zum Anfordern nur leere Dosen mit Drähten), deswegen auch ein Punkt Abzug.
Die Wohnung selbst ist einwandfrei und entschädigt für die Außenanlagen. Klasse Lage, die Einrichtung ist stimmig und sauber. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht.
DAs Personal vor Ort ist ebenfalls sehr freundlich.

[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] Upon arrival you will be frightened first of all because of the unkempt outdoor area. The lift is useless (doors rusted, instead of the buttons to request only empty holes with wires), so one star deduction.
The apartment itself is impeccable and compensates for the outdoor facilities. Class location, the decor is consistent and clean. Everything is there, what you need.
The on-site staff is also very friendly.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in diesem liebevoll und mit viel Geschmack eingerichteten Haus. Die Besitzer sind nett und hilfsbereit. Der Standort eignet sich hervorragend für Besichtigungstouren in die nähere und weitere Umgebung. Eric und Erika

This is a difficult property to rate. The house is beautifully designed, well-equipped and is extremely well-tended. But - it is very small (the pictures suggest it is larger than it actually is), the access road is challenging (we had a small SUV and my husband, an accomplished driver, still had difficulty navigating the steep switchbacks) and it was unpleasant being outside because of the numerous stink bugs which landed on us regularly and were frequently getting into the house. As there were only two of us, we were comfortable inside in inclement weather, but the sitting area would be too small for larger parties.

Villa Lorian is a lovely villa well positioned in the heart of the Brunello wine region. The villa is well appointed with many antique pieces, plenty of room for privacy among fellow travelers, and great larger areas to assemble comfortably as well. We enjoyed the pool which is very refreshing after a day of sight-seeing. The highlight of Villa Lorian is Mari who helps guests feel welcomed and assists with any needs. Mari is a wonderful cook and makes your experience at Villa Lorian extra special because of her warmth and guidance for which made our trip even more special! Thank you Mari .... we will miss you!

Das Haus war wunderschön. Die Sauberkeit in den Zimmern liess etwas zu wünschen übrig. Das Geschirr wurde von der Geschirrspülmaschine nicht sauer geputzt - selbst nach 3 intensiven Spülgängen - und der Billardtisch war nicht benutzbar, da der Filz auf dem Tisch Löcher aufweiste. Die Nähe zu Florenz, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants wurde wiederum sehr geschätzt.

The dishes were not cleaned by the dishwasher - even after 3 intensive rinses - and the pool table was not usable, holes in the felt. The proximity to Florence, shopping and restaurants in turn was much appreciated.

Das Apartment ist gut ausgestattet und bietet ein angenehmes Flair. Einzig die Nähe an der Hauptstraße hat nachts das ein oder andere mal gestört.
2 Minuten Fußweg zum Strand sind unschlagbar.
Sicher noch schöner wären die oberste Etage gewesen mit Meerblick und mehr Lichteinfall. Sollte man beim Buchen drauf achten.
Auf jeden Fall alles in allem empfehlenswert!

Casa Di Vignolo's host was incredibly helpful and accomodating. Irene gave a tour of the town upon our arrival and made sure we had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The villa is charming and authentic and sparkling clean. We had a family of five adults and plenty of space. Casa Di Vignolo was one of highlights of our trip through Tuscany. Would definitely stay here again.
