A lifetime wouldn't be long enough to explore everything that makes Paris so unique and beautiful. There is a reason that so many have fallen so deeply in love with the city for centuries now. However, most of us don't have endless hours and days and years to explore all that Paris to offer so what should you see with limited time in the city? Well, if you only have a day, Google has an automated itinerary with some interesting suggestions. Using information compiled from all over the web – from reviews of attractions, to maps and typical crowd flows – they have mapped out where to go and suggested amounts of time to spend there.
If you have found a vacation rental in Paris, it might be a good place to start while planning your trip, or if you have found a vacation rental in France and are planning on heading to Paris for just a day trip, it might be exactly what you need!

1. Champ de Mars (Suggested amount of time to spend here: 40 minutes)
The itinerary kicks off at Champ de Mars, a large public space in Paris, located in the seventh arrondissement right behind the Eiffel Tower. Lush and green with extensive groomed lawns, benches, flowers, paths and a playground for kids, it is a great place for pretty photo-ops with the Eiffel Tower in the background and to sit down and relax for a bit.
While grabbing a croissant and a coffee and sitting out might be a nice way to start a sunny day in Paris, we're not quite sure we agree with Google about starting the day off here. It might be better as a second spot on the itinerary to relax after visiting the next stop on their route, the Eiffel Tower.

2. Eiffel Tower (Distance from the previous destination: 5 minutes by foot. Suggested amount of time to spend here: 1 hour)
The most iconic structure in the entire city, the Eiffel Tower is a wrought iron lattice tower on the Champ de Mars in Paris and is named after engineer Gustave Eiffel, whose company designed and built the tower. Even for those who aren't interested in tourist traps, this 19th century architectural gem is a must. Go up to the top for the view or try and manage to snag yourself a table at one of the two restaurants or Champagne bar to dine in the tower and get the full experience. Or, if you just want to visit the tower itself, you can book your ticket for the elevator online on the official website, choose the time of your elevator trip and then there is no queuing or waiting necessary!
For this one, we have to agree with Google, this is one must for any trip to Paris!
