Pirates at Isla Mágica
Isla Mágica made headlines a decade ago when Tom Cruise had a real-life movie magic moment and rented out the whole theme park for a day for his daughter Suri while in the area filming the movie, “Knight and Day.” However, you don’t need to pull that kind of massive surprise or have exclusive access to enjoy this incredible place. If you have found a vacation rental in Seville or a holiday rental in Andalusia then you should set aside a day to go and play around on the rides and enjoy the thematic zones and performances whether you are amongst actual children or those that are simply always children at heart.
Ship at Isla Mágica
Built on the original site of the 1992 World’s Fair Expo site, which is located on the Isla Cartuja, just north-west of the city centre, the Isla Mágica was opened to the public in 1997. Based on an overall theme of 16th-century Spanish colonial adventures, it is divided up into seven areas that are arranged around a lake and features rollercoasters, waterslides, pools, lake shows, 4D rides, a pirate ship, a merry-go-round, mini-Ferris wheel, bumper cars, bars, snack bars, shops, cafes and restaurants, and, even, a beach! There is fun and an adventure to be had for everyone in the family or group and it is just a stone’s throw from the historic centre of Seville.
Agua Mágica
Step back into the 16th century and encounter knights, rogues and merchants, explore the Amazon rainforest, board a pirate ship, experience the high-speed 360-degree turns of the El Jaguar rollercoaster and the El Desafio’s 68-metre free fall, go on a flume ride, and much more besides at this unique theme park!

Open from March/April (Saturday before Semana Santa) to October from 11am to between 7 and 10pm during April-June and 11pm to midnight on summer weekends, the park is an easy day trip for anyone visiting this part of Spain.
