A stunning and immediately impressive 18th century property, Villa Camaiore is located on the hills of the Versilia coastline, a particularly scenic part of the Tuscan Coast. It, therefore, boasts both nearby beaches (the closest is just 5km away) and stunning views in addition to: seven bedrooms and seven bathrooms sleeping up to fifteen guests, a private pool surrounded by loungers and umbrellas, bright and spacious interiors with an antique twist, pretty and extensive gardens, relaxing outdoor spaces in which you can dine al fresco or sit out with a coffee or glass of wine and admire the scenery, a private chapel, a billiards room, and much more besides. But don’t just take our word for it, we’re not the only ones who think this villa is pretty magic. “Do you want to stay in a castle? That’s what this magnificent villa feels like. Yes it’s old and sometimes quirky but we absolutely loved it. On Sunday morning I prayed in the chapel before making myself an expresso [sic] and enjoying it outside with the most amazing views - all the way to the sea! Other than the pool, this was our favorite and most used space! A huge thanks to Giulia and Alphonso that first day, until we got our rental cars. On a cosier scale, meanwhile, we have this lovely little stone villa that is located 12km (7 miles) from Pescaglia and only 17km (10 miles) from Lucca in Tuscany. Pretty as a picture with a lush garden full of trees and flowers surrounding the villa and a pool and sun loungers out front, it can accommodate up to six guests comfortably in three bedrooms with two bathrooms. A valley opens out in front of the property and olive tree-covered hills and vineyards surround, making this a place of privacy, peace, and tranquillity that is perfect for those looking to get away from it all and relax. “Beautiful located property amongst the olive trees and vine yards- although pretty narrow and steep road to it. Lovely pool (the pool furniture could do with being updated though) and the house was well equipped. Loved sitting out at night on the terrace with some local wine and chatting away with our friends. Irene gave us superb directions and also a list of some great places to eat out. From the villa we visited Lucca, Pisa and Florence - all within an hour or so. Such a relaxing holiday - we loved it.”

Impeccably finished and impossibly elegant, this villa boasts extensive manicured grounds, plenty of wonderful outdoor spaces to dine al fresco and sit out and enjoy the gardens, a private pool with covered sun loungers nearby, privacy and peace afforded by trees bordering the property and a lengthy lane down to the villa, and chic and luxurious interiors. Sleeping up to sixteen people, it boasts eight lovely bedrooms and seven bathrooms in total. For those who really want to do it in style and comfort, this stunning villa in this beautiful part of Italy is an incredible choice, even if you happen to be working while you are there, as was the case for Nicole P. from Vienna, Austria who had this to say about her time at Masseria Lentisco this June:
“The estate is such a dreamy place! We had a company workation there for 2 weeks and enjoyed every moment there. The host was there to check on us every couple of days and was always available for questions. The house is newly renovated and the pool is big enough to actually swim lanes. Also, you can reach beaches in all directions (sandy & stone) within 15 minutes. We had an amazing time and I would love to come back! All the best and thank you for having us! Nicole”
Podere Varlunga is yet another beautiful Tuscan gem, located in a scenic spot overlooking the lush green Casentino, that can accommodate up to ten guests in four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The house itself is a sweet and typical stone villa of the region with a terracotta roof and cosy interiors as well as interior features such as a big old fireplace, exposed beam ceilings, comfortable furnishings, and relaxing bedrooms. Outside, you will find extensive grounds that are safely and privately fenced in, a lawn for little ones to run about and play on, several spots for dining and lounging al fresco, and a wonderful pool area with sun loungers and umbrellas that is in an elevated spot and makes the most of those incredible views from the villa. The village of Borgo alla Collina, meanwhile, is less than 1km away, making it easy to walk to the shops and and services in town. This property is especially suitable for those travelling with children or a furry pal, as Magdalena V. of Munich, Germany had to say in her review of her and another family’s June 2022 holiday in Podere Varlunga:
“Wonderful house, beautiful and really big garden area and a perfect swimming pool. Very friendly owners who provided good advices for activities. We spent one week in the house and really enjoyed it. It is perfect for two families as 2 bedrooms and a bathroom are on first floor and the other two bedrooms and bathroom on the second floor, so that everyone has its private area. Also staying there with a dog was easy, as there is lots of space in the garden and everything is surrounded with a fence. We will definitely book that house again.”
