Located near the famous Azure Coast, in the region of Var, it is in peaceful and beautiful lush natural surroundings but only a short distance from the most appealing seaside resorts and tourist attractions of this gorgeous part of the world.
While the interiors at Les Pivoines and stylish and charming and finished to a very high standard, the manicured outdoor areas are a big selling point of this villa. Not only is there a large private pool with decking and sun loungers around it, but there are also two different bar areas. One is built off the leaf and vine-covered pergola to the back of the villa, directly overlooking the pool and another is in a more built-up and enclosed roofed space with a full outdoor kitchen (oven, coffee machine, sink, counters, fridge-freezer, a bar counter and two high chairs) and a table for al fresco dining for up to four guests to the side of the pool. In addition, there are several more dining and lounging spaces: the pretty tiled patio just off the kitchen, another slightly raised deck area off the pool, and deck areas in front of the bedrooms. The lush greenery of the garden – from the villa itself and the pergola being draped in climbing plants to the trees all around, the manicured lawns and hedges, and various other plants – add to the charm of this space and, paired with the walls, ensure your privacy. A larger garden is also located on the grounds and has more space for playing as well as another little bistro table and chairs.
Of course, while these outdoor spaces are a wonderful feature of the property, the interiors are also important and as many rooms have large glass doors into the garden or the pool area, you can appreciate your lovely surroundings even while indoors. The main room on the ground floor is the large, double-height dining space which opens directly onto the kitchen located beneath the loft area. Two large sets of glass doors open from this room, one onto the pergola/pool area and one towards the front entrance of the property. Yet another set of glass doors opens from the kitchen onto the patio with the dining set. Both the dining room and kitchen are super bright and airy spaces that make great use of natural wood. There is a large dining table that can seat up to six and a television in the dining space while the kitchen is a cook’s dream with a massive island, ample counter space, stainless steel appliances, a large fridge-freezer and oven, a dishwasher, a microwave, a coffee machine, a spacious steel sink with a draining area, a built-in cutting board, and more.
Upstairs, in the loft, is the living room with couches, a piano, a television, and two daybeds that can offer more sleeping space – a perfect den for some older kids. The bedrooms proper are downstairs, all doubles, each with glass doors overlooking the pool area and lounging areas on the decking just outside. WIFI is also available throughout the house and there is a washing machine on the premises for your convenience.
