Built in 2011 and previously known as Sjöboda, the property accommodates up to 6 guests and features a thoughtfully arranged living space that combines comfort with rustic character. The main level comprises an open-plan living room and kitchen equipped with a convertible sofa that serves as an additional sleeping area, a wood-burning sauna, and a washroom with toilet and shower. A low open loft accessible via steep stairs provides sleeping arrangements for 4 persons, offering a cosy and intimate retreat. Please be aware that due to the very steep stairs, the loft is not suitable for the elderly or small children. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge that includes a freezer box. The property is situated just 50 metres from the Kyrkfjärden bay, placing you in immediate proximity to the calming waters of the Gulf of Finland.

Outdoors

The cottage features a large, partially covered terrace that serves as the heart of outdoor living at this property. This generous outdoor space is equipped with a wood-heated hot tub, which guests heat themselves and which remains available for use throughout all seasons of the year. The hot tub is supplied with clean well water and can be enjoyed 2 to 3 times per stay by adding an activated carbon tablet after each bathing session. A water change, which includes emptying, washing, and refilling, is available at an additional charge of 80 euros. The surrounding natural environment further enhances the outdoor experience, with a large, smooth grass playing field located next to the boat dock where guests can enjoy activities such as football or badminton, with nets and goals readily available on site.

The hot tub rental is to be arranged and paid for in advance alongside the accommodation booking, with firewood available at an additional cost per heating session. Payment for firewood can be made via Mobile Pay, bank transfer, or directly to the owner on site. Guests should note that the loft, while a comfortable sleeping space for 4 persons, is accessible only via very steep stairs and is therefore not recommended for elderly guests or small children. The convertible sofa in the living room and kitchen area provides supplementary sleeping accommodation, contributing to the overall guest capacity of the property.

The property is located approximately 60 kilometres west of Helsinki, making it an accessible yet genuinely secluded retreat. The cottage sits just 50 metres from the Kyrkfjärden bay on the Gulf of Finland. While the nearest shoreline directly adjacent to the property is not suitable for swimming or boating, a boat dock is accessible along a path approximately 80 metres from the cottage, where a shared rowing boat is available for use by guests and neighbouring properties. An outboard motor is also available for hire at a separate price, subject to advance booking. A public beach suitable even for small children is located approximately 300 metres away on foot along a path, or roughly 1 kilometre by car, offering a safe and enjoyable bathing destination for families.
