Casa Marconi is a charming stone villa dating back to the 18 century, with private garden area and all independent.
It is set on two hectares of terraced farmland with fruit and olivetrees, sorrounded by a wide garden offering nice spots to relax. The location of the property, approximately 30 minutes drive from Lucca, is ideal to experience the lovely countryside but also be in proximity of many important tuscan sightseeing. The villa has been thouroughly restored in 1999 retaining its old character but adding moder comfort and convenience.

Casa Marconi is a very lovely and comfortable house. We enjoy really our holidays. A big advantage is that the house is in a higher region (approx. 500 meters) so that it is not so hot at summer nights.
Would you recommend this property to a friend? Yes
This villa is in a beautiful location and the quality of the property is excellent. It is tranquil and the evening in particular wonderful with fabulous views over the mountains. There is a quarry on the mountain opposite, but don't let this put you off, it is very unobstrusive. It takes about 1/2 an hour to get to Lucca which is a wonerful town and the trains to Pisa and Florence are cheap and regular. We would certainly return to this property again.
