Originally constructed from old barn logs and rebuilt across 2 floors, the cabin was thoughtfully restored in spring 2022, blending rustic character with modern comfort. Situated approximately 87 km to the north of Tampere and 20 km to the south of Virrat, the property accommodates a maximum of 8 guests and features 3 bedrooms and 2 WCs. The first bedroom is furnished with 3 beds, the second with 2 beds and 1 extra bed using the upper bunk, and the third with 2 beds. While additional beds are present within the cabin, they are intended for alternative use only, and the maximum occupancy of 8 guests must be respected at all times. The spacious living room provides a welcoming communal space, and the layout across 2 floors ensures a comfortable stay for families and groups alike. A barbecue shelter is available on the property, and firewood is included as part of your stay, making it easy to enjoy cosy evenings in the open air.

Outdoors

The cabin sits just 100 m from the shores of Lake Näsijärvi, where a shared beach with a shallow, sandy bottom invites you to relax and enjoy the water at your own pace. A swimming pier extends over the lake, offering a perfect spot for swimming or simply taking in the tranquil surroundings. A boat is available for shared use, allowing you to explore the calm waters of the lake at leisure. The barbecue shelter is ideally positioned for outdoor dining and social gatherings, with firewood included so you can light the grill without any additional preparation. Should you wish to use charcoal instead, you are welcome to bring your own supply. In winter, the owner is able to arrange an ice hole on request, subject to ice conditions, providing a traditional Finnish outdoor experience for the more adventurous guests.

Other Information

The cabin is a log-built structure on 2 floors, originally built in 1991 and restored in spring 2022. It does not have a private sauna; however, a lakeside sauna located at the beach, approximately 100 m from the cabin, is available with a daily sauna shift allocated per cabin. If the sauna has not been pre-heated prior to your arrival, you are responsible for heating it yourself. Each sauna shift lasts 1 hour per day. Should you wish to extend your sauna time, the lakeside sauna can be rented separately for a longer period by prior arrangement with the owner. Within the same sauna building, a hot tub is available when the extended rental option is booked, and a separate smoke sauna can also be rented independently. All additional rental arrangements must be agreed upon in advance with the owner. Pets are welcome at the property at an additional cost, charged per pet, with a maximum of 2 pets permitted at any one time. Please note that the wall outlets available for car heating are not compatible with electric vehicle charging. This property is not available for bookings where all guests are under the age of 25 years.
