Outdoors

The outdoor spaces of Villa Michelangelo are as impressive as the interior, offering a rich variety of areas designed for relaxation, dining, and recreation. The centrepiece of the garden is the magnificent swimming pool, situated in a panoramic position overlooking the rolling green hills of Umbria, just 5 metres from the villa and accessible via 8 steps descending from the portico. The rectangular pool, lined with tiles, measures 14 by 7 metres with a depth ranging from 1.30 to 4 metres. It features chlorine purification, internal lighting, and 2 metal ladders for water access. The pool is non-heated and open from the last Saturday in April until the first Saturday in October. The spacious sunbathing area surrounding the pool is paved with tiles, stones, and grass, and is furnished with umbrellas, sunbeds, small tables, armchairs, and sofas, as well as an outdoor hot and cold-water shower. A few steps below the pool level leads to a dedicated relaxation area complete with changing rooms, a bathroom, and a refrigerator. A sauna is also located on the lawn just a couple of metres from the sunbathing area, adding a further dimension of wellness to your outdoor experience. Under a large portico adjacent to the dining room's French windows, a beautifully arranged outdoor dining area invites you to enjoy meals al fresco, furnished with chairs, tables, armchairs, and coffee tables. A large gazebo near the pool provides an additional setting for evening dining under the open sky. The garden also features a barbecue and wood oven, perfect for preparing and sharing meals in the open air. The ground floor also houses a fully equipped professional kitchen with a brick-built barbecue. A 25-step marble and brass staircase ascends to the first floor, which is arranged around the staircase and comprises a study and library, along with 5 bedrooms: 3 double rooms, 1 twin room with joinable beds, and 1 single room, each with its own en-suite bathroom, of which 3 feature a bathtub and 2 a shower. Some of these bedrooms also benefit from private terrace access. A wooden staircase leads further up to the second floor, which opens onto a passage lounge with sofas and armchairs connecting to a large terrace. This floor contains 3 bedrooms: 1 twin room with joinable beds and an en-suite bathroom with bathtub, 1 double room, and 1 single room, the latter two sharing a bathroom with bathtub. A laundry room equipped with a washing machine and dryer, as well as a sauna and a bathroom with shower, are also located on this floor. Descending 25 steps from the ground floor entrance leads to the basement, which houses a spacious taverna featuring a fireplace, a billiard table, a conversation area with sofas, armchairs and coffee tables, a fully equipped bar, gaming tables, and a guest bathroom.
