Outdoors

The grounds of Villa Rasena are a remarkable natural setting, encompassing a wooded area, 3,000 square metres of open grass, and 1,500 square metres of landscaped garden with lawn surrounding the villa. Among the oaks, Turkey oaks, holm oaks, and chestnut trees, it is not uncommon to encounter squirrels, foxes, deer, and porcupines, lending the estate a truly wild and unspoiled atmosphere. An ornamental stone fountain graces the forecourt, guiding guests toward the rear of the property where the outdoor living spaces unfold. Rose bushes add colour to the areas immediately adjacent to the villa, while magnolia and hazel trees contribute their fragrance to the surroundings. Large larches and plane trees create naturally shaded areas furnished with outdoor seating, children's games, and a table football table, offering entertainment for guests of all ages. A wood oven and barbecue are also available on the grounds, perfect for alfresco dining and convivial gatherings. Please be aware that photographs of the property were taken in spring, and therefore the blossoming of flowers and the colour of the garden grass may differ at the time of your arrival.

The non-heated swimming pool is situated at the rear of the villa, in the north-facing section of the garden, approximately 10 metres from the building and on the same level. Rectangular in shape and lined in light blue PVC, the pool measures 6 by 12 metres, with a depth ranging from 1.20 metres at the shallow end to 2.10 metres at the centre. Access to the water is provided by a metal ladder, and a diving board is also available for guests' enjoyment. The pool area is paved in sanpietrini, a traditional local stone, and is bordered by a lawn furnished with umbrellas, sunbeds, deckchairs, and additional outdoor furniture. A hot-water shower is conveniently located poolside. Both internal and external lighting allow you to enjoy the pool during the evening and at night. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October.

Villa Rasena is configured to comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests across 3 thoughtfully designed bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, all arranged on a single level accessed directly from the entrance. Upon entering the villa, you are welcomed into a large, bright, open-plan living area comprising a dining room with fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, and a sitting room with television and fireplace. Four large French windows connect this central living space directly to the outdoor dining area, the pool, and the courtyard at the front of the villa, creating a seamless flow between interior and exterior.

To the left of the dining room lies the wellness area, featuring a whirlpool tub and an infrared sauna, designed to offer moments of relaxation and intimate quiet. Continuing along the corridor, the sleeping accommodation unfolds as follows: the first double bedroom is complete with an ensuite shower and an ensuite bathroom; the second double bedroom also features an ensuite shower along with a wardrobe; and the third double bedroom is served by a separate bathroom with shower, with an additional wardrobe room also accessible from the corridor. A guest bathroom completes the private quarters of the villa.

The weekly rental rate includes utilities such as water, gas for kitchen use, and hot water, as well as weekly linen changes and both an initial and a final cleaning of the property. Additionally, the rate includes the Zer0Dep Guarantee, which means guests are not required to pay a security deposit either on balance or upon arrival. This guarantee also provides EuropAssistance coverage in the event of accidental damage to the property during the stay, up to a maximum of 1,500 euros and subject to the limitations set out in the policy terms.
