The renovation, completed in 2013, was carried out with meticulous respect for the property's original architectural character, incorporating Capoferri fixtures with large sliding glass doors fitted with electric mosquito netting, through which you can admire the breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. The property enjoys a remarkable geographical position within 2 UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the "Sacri Monti (Sacred Mountains) of Piedmont and Lombardy", owing to the presence of the Sacro Monte of Crea, and the "Vineyard Landscape of Piedmont: Langhe-Roero and Monferrato". Surrounded by 17 hectares of land comprising truffle trees, vineyards, and orchards, the estate is accessed through an automatic entrance gate crafted from cedar of Lebanon wood, opening onto a courtyard that is artfully illuminated on summer evenings. The expansive yard, planted with roses, low plants, and tall trees of both native and exotic origin, provides a lush and serene setting for outdoor relaxation. A heated swimming pool is available for guests to enjoy from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October, offering a private and sun-drenched retreat on the far side of the garden. Wireless internet connectivity is available throughout the property, ensuring you remain connected during your stay.

Outdoors

The outdoor spaces of Cascina La Valle offer a harmonious blend of natural beauty and thoughtfully designed recreational areas. The courtyard in front of the farmhouse extends longitudinally into an 800 square metre garden planted with roses and low ornamental plants, while tall trees, including exotic species such as bingo giloba and hazelnuts, frame the south-western boundary and lead gracefully toward the pool area, which benefits from excellent sun exposure throughout the day. The heated rectangular swimming pool measures 10 x 4 metres with a depth of 1.50 metres and is lined in white PVC, equipped with chlorine purification, underwater lighting, and a steel ladder for safe water access. Surrounding the pool, a lawn solarium area is furnished with sunbeds, deckchairs, an umbrella, and a cold-water shower, creating an ideal space for sunbathing and relaxation. The pool is positioned approximately 30 metres from the house in a secluded and tranquil setting. Adjacent to the courtyard, a large furnished portico is equipped with a barbecue, providing the perfect setting for convivial outdoor dining and social gatherings. A second portico is outfitted with fitness equipment, offering guests the opportunity to maintain an active routine amidst the countryside. A terrace on the upper floor, accessible from one of the suites, adds a further dimension to the outdoor experience. Please be aware that photographs of the property were taken in spring, and therefore the blossoming of flowers and the colour of the garden grass may differ from what you observe upon arrival.

Unit Layout

Cascina La Valle is configured to accommodate up to 12 guests across 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, distributed over 2 floors of the farmhouse. The entrance on the ground floor opens into a small hallway featuring a slate staircase leading to the upper level. To the right of the entrance, a double bedroom is equipped with a kitchenette and a private bathroom with shower. To the left, a large kitchen-dining room is complemented by a storage room and laundry area, followed by a guest bathroom and a spacious living room furnished with a dining table and relaxing sofas, fitted with glass walls and a sliding glass door that frames the surrounding landscape. The upper floor is accessible via both the internal slate staircase and an external staircase located beside the large portico. On the right side of the upper floor, a hallway leads to a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom featuring a whirlpool tub. On the left, a small hallway connects to a twin bedroom with a compact en-suite bathroom and a separate shower. This twin bedroom is linked through an internal door to the first suite, which comprises a double bedroom, a bathroom with bathtub, a kitchenette, a living room with a single sofa bed, and direct access to the terrace. This suite can also be reached independently via the external staircase. On the opposite side of the terrace, the second suite is accessed through its own entrance and consists of a living room with a single sofa and kitchenette, a double bedroom, and a bathroom with a hydromassage shower.
