Outdoors

The outdoor spaces of Trullo Santa Pazienza are as thoughtfully conceived as the interiors, offering a seamless extension of the living experience into the natural landscape. Upon entering through the property gate, reached via a dirt road of approximately 200 metres through the surrounding countryside, a grand flight of 9 white steps leads to the heart of the estate, flanked by ornamental plants shaped into hedges that perfume the passage. The steps overlook the open parking area, while the house itself stands centrally within its park of Mediterranean shrubs and olive trees that cast natural shade over the outdoor living areas. A spacious L-shaped pergola, equipped with lighting and furnished with a large table and 2 generous sofas, provides an elegant setting for outdoor relaxation. Adjacent to it, a brick portico outside the kitchen accommodates a dining table and space for a small mobile barbecue, creating a convivial al fresco dining area. A paved pathway winds through the property, leading from the trullo past the lamie and up to the pool area, which is set at a slightly elevated position to ensure complete privacy. The non-heated swimming pool is rectangular, measuring 8 x 4 metres with a constant depth of 1.70 metres, and is lined in light-blue PVC with salt purification. Long submerged steps along the short side provide easy access to the water. The surrounding sunbathing area is finished in dark-coloured, non-slip teak planks, and on the 2 wider sides guests will find umbrellas and sunbeds. A hot and cold-water outdoor shower is also available nearby. The pool is illuminated both internally and externally, allowing use during the evening hours, and is available from the last Saturday in April until the first Saturday in October. Please note that photographs of the property were taken in spring, so the appearance of the garden, including the blossoming of flowers and the colour of the grass, may differ at the time of your arrival.

Unit Layout

Trullo Santa Pazienza accommodates a maximum of 9 guests across 3 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, distributed among 3 architecturally distinct yet interconnected units. The trullo, the first residential body, is entered through a main entrance that opens into a dining area connected to an open-plan kitchen and a living room with direct access to the garden. On one side of the living area, a bedroom featuring a double bed, which can be divided into 2 single beds, is set within a characteristic alcove and includes a singular wardrobe created within a wall recess. This room benefits from an en-suite bathroom with a shower set in a stone tub, accessed via 3 steps. A further double bedroom is located on the same floor, served by an adjoining bathroom with shower, without bidet. Both bedrooms in the trullo feature characteristic arch entrances without doors, separated from the surrounding spaces by fabric curtains. Owing to the natural thermal properties of traditional trullo construction, these rooms remain cool without the need for air conditioning. The main lamia, the central nucleus of the property, comprises a spacious sitting area that communicates with a bright and well-equipped open kitchen. A large French window provides direct access to the outdoor dining area beneath the brick portico. A bathroom with shower, without bidet, serves this area. The sleeping area, accessible up 2 steps, includes a suite arrangement separated by a darkened curtain, consisting of a small passage room with an additional single bed and a double bedroom with a divisible bed and direct access to the garden. These 2 rooms share a bathroom in which the shower is located in a separate room with double entrance accessible from both bedrooms. The annex lamia, the third residential body, features a spacious living room with a double sofa bed, a bathroom with shower, and a dedicated laundry room housing the washing machine.

Pets are accepted at the property upon prior authorisation by the owner, who must be informed of the number, size, and breed of the animals before arrival. Children under 12 years of age are exempt from the tourism tax. The swimming pool is available from the last Saturday in April until the first Saturday in October, and can be enjoyed during evening hours thanks to its internal and external lighting system.
