Private: garden 300 m2 (fenced). Patio (15 m2), terrace (7 m2), garden furniture. Parking at the house. Grocery 500 m, restaurant 1 km, sandy beach 10 km.

4-room chalet 85 m2 on 2 levels, rustic furnishings: living/sleeping room with 1 double sofabed and TV. Exit to the patio. Open kitchen (oven, freezer). Shower/bidet/WC. Upper floor: 1 double bedroom with panoramic window. 2 rooms, 2 beds. Oil heating (extra). Marvellous panoramic view of the sea, the lake and the valley. Facilities: washing machine, baby cot. Please note: maximum 2 pets/ dogs allowed.

Those famous Renaissance walls that have Roman foundations but were built in their current form as a defense against Florence in the 16th and 17th centuries and still surround the town of Lucca aren't just appealing historic in appearance. This charming feature of the city is also an important attraction in its own right for those who are interested in architecture and engineering and for those looking to go on one of the prettiest walks in Tuscany. Used by locals and visitors alike as a place to walk, jog, and cycle since 1799, the whole wall is about 4 km long and is interrupted by 11 bastions, all different in design. Trees have been planted along the path around the wall, offering shade and making it a pleasant place to stroll, especially in the heat of the summer. As you walk around the wall, you will also be afforded stunning views over the old town and the surrounding landscape, making it one of the most pleasant and scenic spots for a walk in Tuscany.
