"Victoria View" is a beautifully appointed vacation rental offering a well-organized and thoughtfully designed living space of 40 m2, situated on the 3rd floor of the building. The apartment accommodates a maximum capacity of 2 guests and features 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom, making it an ideal retreat for a couple or 2 adults seeking a refined and comfortable stay.
The living and dining area spans 20 m2 and is bathed in natural light, furnished with a dining table and equipped with cable TV offering international channels, a flat screen television, and a radio. Direct access from this room leads to a charming balcony of 8 m2, complete with balcony furniture and a very beautiful view of the mountains and the resort. The 1 double bedroom measures 12 m2 and features 1 French bed measuring 160 cm in width and 200 cm in length. The open kitchen is fully equipped and seamlessly integrated into the living space. The bathroom is configured as a shower and WC. The apartment was fully renovated in 2015 and is presented with tasteful furnishings throughout.

For cooler periods, electric heating is provided throughout the property. We loved the apartment in 2019 when we first stayed there. Our return booking for 2020 was postponed due to the Covid pandemic and was rescheduled for August 2021.
The apartment had all the features we required and gave us a lovely view from our balcony across the Hohe Matte towards the Victoria Jungfrau Hotel.
Only a few minutes walk to the town centre and both train stations, it is conveniently located to catch the boats and sail around both Lake Brienz and Lake Thun, as well as journeying by train into the mountains to visit the Eiger/Monch/Jungfrau and also the Schilthorn and, my own favourite place, the Lauterbrunnen valley.
We will return to holiday in the Bernese Oberland in the future and look forward to staying at the Victoria View apartment again when we do.Would you recommend this property to a friend? Yes
