Built in 2006, the cabin accommodates guests across a well-considered layout that includes a living room and kitchen with a sofa bed, 2 bedrooms each featuring 2 beds — one situated on the ground floor and another on the upper floor — as well as a sleeping loft with 4 beds, providing generous sleeping capacity for families or groups. The interior is further complemented by a wood-heated sauna, a washroom, and toilet facilities available on both the ground floor and the upper floor. A covered porch completes the cabin's inviting character, offering a sheltered space to enjoy the surrounding natural scenery. Please be aware that network connections in the area may be weak.

Outdoors

The outdoor setting of this log cabin is defined by its immediate proximity to lake Iso-Roine, located just 20 metres from the cabin. The lake stretches 8 kilometres in length and 2 kilometres in width, featuring a hard rocky bottom with larger stones in places. A nature trail runs directly in front of the cabin, descending a steep slope toward the pier, where you can access the water via stairs for swimming. Due to the rocky nature of the shoreline, this area is not considered child-friendly; however, a shallow sandy beach suitable for children is available within 200 metres of the cabin, shared with the neighbouring cabins. The wood-heated sauna offers direct access to the covered porch, which serves as a natural cooling area after bathing. The porch is furnished with a round log-made table group, creating a rustic and welcoming outdoor dining and relaxation space. The cabin does not have sun loungers. The marina, where the rowing boat belonging to the cabin is stored, is located 100 metres away. A short distance beyond the marina, a shortcut leads to a meadow area offering opportunities for a wide variety of outdoor activities.

Other Information

Check-in is available from 16:00, and check-out must be completed by 12:00, including weekend reservations. An electric car charger is available for an additional fee and is shared with the Puolukka, Mustikka, and Lakka cabins.

The cabin is situated 37 kilometres to the north of Hämeenlinna, placing it within reasonable reach of the amenities and services that the city has to offer while preserving the sense of seclusion that defines this lakeside setting.
