The ground floor hosts a cozy living room with a fireplace, a second bedroom separated by a folding door featuring a double bed with a width of 140 cm, and a sauna equipped with an electric sauna stove, along with a washroom and WC. The cabin is equipped with 2 televisions and a PlayStation 2 console with a selection of games, ensuring entertainment is always at hand. A mosquito trap, commonly known as a mosquito magnet, adds a thoughtful touch for warm-season comfort. The property benefits from a natural spring water supply, bringing fresh, clean water directly to the cabin. Wireless internet connectivity via Wi-Fi is available, keeping you connected throughout your stay even in this peaceful, remote setting.

Outdoors

The outdoor spaces of this property are a true highlight, defined by the immediate proximity to the pristine lake Alajärvi, situated just 25 metres from the cabin. The lake stretches approximately 3 km in length and 600 m in width, offering a deep beach with a hard sand bottom that is ideal for swimming and waterside relaxation. Guests have exclusive access to a private pier and a boat, inviting you to explore the calm waters at your leisure. A gas grill is available for outdoor cooking and al fresco dining, making warm evenings by the lake all the more enjoyable. The covered porch on the upper floor provides a sheltered outdoor space where you can unwind while taking in the natural surroundings. A lakeside sauna, renovated in 2020, stands as one of the most distinctive features of the property. This dedicated sauna building includes a steam room with a shower and electric lighting, as well as a separate fireplace room equipped with a refrigerator and 1 bed, offering a complete and self-contained lakeside retreat. The lakeside sauna is available seasonally from the 1st of May to the 30th of September. Additionally, a hot tub can be arranged by separate agreement with the owner, available for rental during your stay. The caretaker is responsible for filling and initiating the heating of the hot tub, after which you take over the heating and may enjoy it throughout the rental period without a water change. During winter use, you are responsible for ensuring the water does not freeze and for emptying the tub after use. Please be aware that the hot tub is not available for use when temperatures drop below -20 degrees Celsius.
