On the same level, 2 bedrooms each feature 1 french bed measuring 160 cm in width and 200 cm in length, and share a shower room with WC. On the upper floor, a third bedroom features 1 french bed measuring 140 cm in width and 190 cm in length, a private shower room with WC, and direct access to a 6 m2 south-west facing balcony with equally stunning views of the sea and surrounding countryside.

Located at the end of the Canebière, the main street of Marseille, the pedestrianised area that is the Old Port has been the natural harbour of the city since antiquity and remains a spiritual hub of Marseille as one of its most iconic areas. When the city was first founded by Greek settlers in 600BC, they originally built up their settlement around what is now the Old Port. It was the centre of maritime activity until the 19th century when new harbour moles, quays and docks were built to the north-west of the city, eventually resulting in the Grand Port Maritime de Marseille. While the Old Port was left in ruins after bombing by the Nazis in World War II, it has since been restored and is now a marina and a terminal for local boat trips, as well as a local fish market. Bouillabaisse is a traditional Provençal fish stew originating from the port city of Marseille that was originally a stew made by local fishermen to use up the bony rockfish they were unable to sell on to restaurants or markets and is thought to date all the way back to the Ancient Greeks! There are at least three kinds of fish in a traditional bouillabaisse: typically red rascasse, sea robin and European conger but other fish such as gilt-head bream, turbot, monkfish, mullet and hake can also be added. In the 19th century, with increased prosperity, the traditionally humble dish became more refined and, today, bouillabaisse usually also includes shellfish and other seafood such as sea urchins, mussels, velvet crabs, spider crab or octopus and more expensive versions can have lobster, though this is not traditional. Vegetables used include leeks, onions, tomatoes, celery, and potatoes, which are simmered together with the broth and served with the fish.

Payments And Cancellation Charges

The initial deposit required to confirm a reservation to be paid at the time of booking (unless there are special conditions in place) is 25% of the total rent amount.

The balance is due 65 days before arrival.

For last-minute bookings (within 65 days of arrival) the full amount must be paid at the time of the booking.

In case of cancellation of the booking, even if it is substituted by another one, the following penalties apply:
- the initial deposit (25% of total rent) if the cancellation is made between booking time up to 66 days before arrival date;
- 100% of total rental price if the cancellation is made from 65 days to arrival date or in case of no show.

Booking this property the renter will also receive included in the price a cancellation insurance policy provided by ERV which also covers, among other events, the cancellation in case of positivity to Covid-19.
