Built in 1975 and thoughtfully renovated in 1999, this charming log cottage sits on a beautiful wild forest slope on the shore of the secluded pond Ekslampi, just 40 m away. The setting offers exceptional privacy, as only one other cottage shares the same shoreline, and it remains entirely out of sight. The interior is bright and decorated in a nicely retro-romantic style, featuring a living room and kitchen area that exude warmth and character. The living room is furnished with a double bed, consisting of 2 single beds on a single mattress, with separate mattresses also available upon advance request, as well as a sofa bed accommodating 1 to 2 people. A dining table for 4 and an open fireplace complete the living space, creating a welcoming and cozy atmosphere. The kitchen is equipped with cold and hot water and a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, though no dishwasher is available. The cottage comfortably accommodates 2 to 4 guests in total. A bathroom with a toilet and shower is also available. For additional sleeping arrangements, a summer shed built in 1975 offers 2 beds measuring 90x200 cm, equipped with electricity for lighting and additional heating if necessary, though this space is exclusively available from June through August.

On the shore of pond Ekslampi, a private rowing boat is available for guests to use, and the pond is well known for pike and perch fishing. The beach sauna, measuring 8 m² and dating from 1975, is located just 5 m from the water and features a wood-burning stove with a stove tank, electric lighting, and its own terrace with stairs leading directly to the sauna and the beach. The wood-burning sauna produces soft steam baths, and guests can enjoy a refreshing dip in the cool pond immediately after. The beach itself has a hard surface with a deep mud bottom, and the pond reaches a depth of 14 m at its center, while the depth at the end of the pier is approximately 3 m, making it most suitable for guests with strong swimming skills. Adjacent to the beach sauna, a small and atmospheric grill house adds further character to the outdoor experience. Equipped with an open fireplace, a wood stove, and a charcoal grill, this space is ideal for preparing a variety of dishes, frying sausages, or brewing traditional soot-pan coffee over an open flame, all sheltered from the rain. The grill house also features a terrace and an electrical outlet. Completing the outdoor facilities, the property includes a wood shed and an outdoor toilet in the yard.
