Description
Puikkokoski (1952), totally renovated 2018, is an idyllic, old lumberjack cottage which is suitable for example as a holiday base for groups or several families in the middle of the purest kind of Kainuu forest landscape.
Cottage living area is 194 m², on one level. There has a large 70-seat room with a huge natural stone fireplace. Wide 30 m² terrace. There is a separate kitchen (dinner set for 70 persons). Six bedrooms with bunk-beds, total for 16 persons. There is 3 x indoor WC. From some of the bedrooms entrance to the living room and other common spaces is from outdoors.
Behind the cottage is small flowing creek, there located in log wooden sauna (52 m²). Sauna has a spacious living room with fireplace / dressing room, 2 showers, sauna (electric stove) at one time for up to 12 people. Porch / patio area and a separate eco toilet. Possibility of swimming in the stream (distance 3 m), swimming ladder (steep descent into the creek, hard, deep ground). Sauna with cold and hot water + electricity.
