FYI to the owners, I think for the benefit of future renters, you should provide a manual of operations for how to use the appliances in the home. That was the second service we needed from Juan. We arrived to an unfamiliar abode and had no idea how to use the internet, the stove, the alarm, or the microwave. He was able to educate us on how to operate basic needs only because we had to return to your central offices and ask for someone to come and help us with the proper use of things since the house itself had no phone from which to call from. All these basic details consumed the whole of our first afternoon.

The house was devoid of paper towels, dish washing soap or sponges, shower soap, blow dryers or even basic toilet paper. Considering the cost and comfort of renting a home for a vacation, we found the lack of these amenities rather surprising. In the end, we had to purchase all of those things on our own, with the exception of a blow dryer that Severine was kind enough to lend us for the duration of our stay after we returned to inquire about these basic amenities.

Several times throughout our stay we lost power in the kitchen area. At first, we re-engaged the fuses and it was able to work again but the third time it happened there was no way to work the fuse and we had to call your central offices and Juan again came to our rescue.

Unfortunately, it wasn't as easy as tripping a switch and an electrician was necessary to solve the problem which meant that our entire last day we were unable to use the kitchen. Because of this, we had to eat all of our meals that day out of the home, incurring costs unforeseen.
