The property's timeless charm is reflected in its terracotta floors, traditional 'pietra serena' fireplaces, and wooden furnishings, all of which contribute to an atmosphere of warmth and elegance. The well-kept garden of 1,900 square metres blends seamlessly with the surrounding farmland, providing a serene and natural setting for guests to enjoy. Outdoors
The outdoor spaces at Il Cerreto are as impressive as the interior, offering a variety of settings in which to relax and entertain. The garden of 1,900 square metres is bordered by hedges and terracotta pots, with cypress and olive trees enhancing the unmistakably Tuscan atmosphere. A gravel path winds through the grounds, connecting the various outdoor areas and leading to the iron gate that provides access to the pool terrace. The veranda, housed within the original barn structure, is enclosed with windows and fully equipped for al fresco dining, making it an ideal space for shared meals in any season. A dedicated barbecue area is conveniently located near the main entrance, perfect for outdoor cooking and casual gatherings.
The non-heated infinity pool is positioned in front of the villa and commands a stunning panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. Rectangular in shape, it measures 12 by 6 metres with a constant depth of 1.4 metres and features salt purification, Roman steps for easy access, and internal lighting for evening use. The pool terrace is partially paved with terracotta and is equipped with sunbeds, deckchairs, umbrellas, and an outdoor shower. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October. It is worth noting that the photographs of the property were taken in spring, and therefore the blossoming of flowers and the colour of the garden grass may differ from what you find upon arrival.
Unit Layout
Il Cerreto offers a generous and flexible interior configuration spread across 2 floors, accommodating a maximum of 11 guests across 6 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms. The layout is particularly well suited to larger groups, as certain areas of the villa can function independently, offering both shared communal spaces and private retreats.
On the ground floor, the main entrance opens into a hallway with a staircase leading to the first floor. This level includes a living room featuring a television and a billiard table, a bathroom with shower, and a hallway with direct garden access. The ground floor also houses a kitchen with external access serving the veranda, as well as a laundry room with its own external access.
On the first floor, a large dining room is connected to the main kitchen. There are also 2 open-plan areas, each comprising a kitchenette and a living room, and each equipped with an external staircase that provides independent access to the property. The sleeping accommodation on this floor consists of 3 double bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom with shower, as well as 2 additional double bedrooms, one of which features a divisible bed, and 1 single bedroom. 2 further bathrooms with shower complete the first floor. Please note that all fireplaces throughout the villa are ornamental.
